Grab the entire family and head to one of these fun events before the season ends.
Mayfest- May 4th and 5th
Less than 25 minutes away from Gemcrafts Taylor Estates community in the coveted 17402 zip code of East York, residents can experience the 2019 Mayfest. Held in the heart of Maytown, festival goers can enjoy a weekend of music on the square, the famous Maytown Historical Society food stand, food trucks, an actual penny candy store, historical reenactments, arts and crafts, and much more.
Herb & Garden Faire at Landis Valley– May 10th and 11th
Shop for the perfect springtime plant at the Herb & Garden Faire at Landis Valley. Less than an hours drive from Gemcraft’s new Fieldstone Village community in Coatesville, PA, this is a great day trip for a gardening enthusiast. More than 80 vendors of plants, herbal skin care products, garden art, and jewelry will be spread out over the historic village for two days of flower power fun! Visitors can also grab a bite from local food vendors or tour the museum’s beautiful gardens.
Olde York Street Fair-May 12
Once you’ve treated mom to a delicious Mother’s Day Breakfast, spend the day at the Olde York Street Fair. A quick thirty-minute drive from our new Lexington Estates community, this hometown favorite Mother’s Day tradition is free to attend! The event takes place in and around Continental Square and features more than 100 vendors of handmade arts and crafts, and plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy including; a Kids Fun Block with bounce houses, games, petting zoo, and face painting. Food vendors will also be there selling a variety of traditional American festival food and other delicious original creations.
Painting at the Park-May 18th
Perfect for residents in Gemcraft’s new Winslett community in Harrisburg, head to Wildwood Park for a fun afternoon of painting. Led by Jenn Brown, from Jenn’s Craft Parties, guests of all experience levels are welcome to paint as Jenn guides the group through painting the Quintessential Fireflies in a Jar. All materials will be provided, and light refreshments will be available.
