Mariner Point Park

This waterfront park is perfect for runners. Surrounded by lush woodlands, Mariner Point Park offers views of the Gunpowder river, a boat ramp, picnic tables and walking trail that runs along the water.  

Eden Mills Nature Center

Nestled along Deer Creek, Eden Mills Nature Center and Park consist of 117 acres of wooded trails. Follow the Beaver Run Trail and Bluebird Trail along the creek. Beavers, turtles, and a variety of birds are known to call these trails home.

Rocks State Park

Rocks state park is perfect for hikers seeking a little adventure. Take a hike through one of Maryland’s first state parks. Make your way up to the King and Queens seat of Rock. This soaring natural rock outcrop provides a breathtaking view, as well as a challenge to the skilled climber.

Hikers are welcome to trek across the 18-mile trail of Gunpowder Falls State Park. This state park is one of Maryland’s largest and runs across Harford and Baltimore County.
